Program is designed to provide student-athletes with high-level instruction to gain strength, and improve speed and agility. Through this periodized program, athletes will train for staying strong and healthy. Sessions will be three-days a week consisting of multiple aspects of athletic performance. Athletes will be taught form and technique, with emphasis on moving well and creating strong movement patterns. Exercise prescription will take your sport into account and help you develop into a better athlete. Additionally, Strength training will enhance your athletic ability, as well as help with injury prevention.
Focus will be on proper body positioning, form, and technique to continue to build a strong foundation for athletic participation. Body weight exercises and weights/load will be incorporated in all strength training. Various training tools will be utilized to enhance muscle sequencing for building strength and agility for individual and group competitive activities.
